Duration: 12 Months
Job Description:
We are seeking a Produce Safety Assistant to support the Rapid Response Team within the Food Protection Division. This role involves administrative assistance research and effective communication with various stakeholders. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in program development compliance checks and educational outreach.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the Produce Safety Program and Rapid Response Team.
- Research and prepare reports ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
- Assist in food safety inspections and sample collection.
- Develop educational materials and support program improvement initiatives.
- Coordinate efforts with stakeholders including state agencies and the public.
Required Skills:
- Experience in an administrative role preferably in Public Health or related fields.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint Excel SharePoint).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and multitasking abilities.
- Knowledge of food safety principles and FDA regulations is a plus.
