Job Description

The Special Education Teacher is responsible for IEP development and case management data collection differentiation and intervention for academic and/or socialemotional needs technology integration and ability to work with different professions therapist and agegroups. We are seeking a caring individual with a desire to help students achieve their goals to join our team.

Essential Tasks:

Prepare and implement the instructional process for students with IEPs
Deliver instruction through the use of curriculum materials and educational software
Develop daily lesson plans and classroom schedules that reflect state and school requirements
Implement standards for student behavior to ensure a safe secure and effective learning environment by providing a high degree of structure clear expectations and consistency

Requirements

Illinois ESE K12 Certification.

Bachelors Degree in Special Education or related degree.

Experience working with children with a wide range of disabilities.

Proven experience as a Special Education Teacher or relevant role.
