Job Description
Job Title: IT Business Analyst (US Citizen Only)
Location: Remote
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand and document detailed business requirements and technical specifications.
- Analyze current business processes and identify areas for improvement by implementing IT solutions.
- Work with IT teams to design technical solutions that meet business requirements including system architecture data flow and integration points.
- Create clear and concise documentation including business requirement documents (BRD) functional specifications and process flow diagrams.
- Develop test cases support user acceptance testing (UAT) and validate that the implemented solutions meet the original requirements.
- Engage with various business units vendors and IT teams to ensure project alignment and successful delivery of IT solutions.
- Assist in the project management lifecycle including planning tracking and reporting on progress and risks.
- Provide support to users including training on new systems and solutions.
- Bachelors Degree in Information Technology Computer Science Business or a related field.
- Experience as an IT Business Analyst or in a similar role.
- Strong experience in requirements elicitation process mapping and business analysis techniques.
- Experience in software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies such as Agile and Waterfall.
- Experience in data analysis creating technical documentation and understanding systems architecture.
- Knowledge of tools such as JIRA Confluence or similar project management and collaboration tools.
- Solid understanding of SQL and ability to query databases.
- Excellent communication analytical and problemsolving skills.
- CBAP or PMP certification is a plus.
- Federal Experience is a plus.
- Required Security clearance.
