Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of the plant s Health and Safety programs.
- Develop and lead a longterm strategy to achieve H&S excellence.
- Provide strategic leadership guidance and training to the Safety department managing personnel budgets and data.
- Conduct accident investigations perform root cause ysis and prepare detailed reports.
- Ensure regulatory compliance with local state federal and corporate safety standards.
- Build and manage safety committees to foster a proactive safety culture.
- Plan implement and oversee all safety training programs.
- Conduct risk essments and implement effective risk management strategies.
- Lead accident investigations identify root causes and enforce corrective actions.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to promote safety awareness and drive continuous improvement in H&S practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree required.
- 7 years of Health & Safety experience in a medium to large manufacturing environment.
- 5 years of experience in a supervisory leadership or management role.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA EPA and other relevant H&S regulations.
- Expertise in conducting risk essments and implementing risk management strategies.
- Proven experience in leading accident investigations and root cause ysis.
- Lean or Continuous Improvement mindset.
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP) certification is a plus.
