Job Description
ARQUIMEA we are a technology company operating globally and providing innovate solutions and products in highly demanding sectors.
Our areas of activity are Aerospace Defense & Security Big Science Biotechnology and Fintech.
In ARQUIMEA SPACE develops spaceflight parts and equipment for satellites and launchers. We specialize in thermal control systems structural panels optical payloads avionics release and deployment mechanisms and radhard microelectronics. Together with our tech partners we provide highthroughput smallsats and their subsystems. Our brandnew factory in Madrid is suited to integrate satellites and constellations.
Now were hiring a Senior Electronics Engineer (Space) to be located in our Headquarters in Torrejn de Ardoz (Madrid).
Tasks to be performed:
- Architectural design and implementation of space electronics equipment containing power digital and og modules.
- Design simulation testing and qualification of complex space grade electronics systems containing SoC and several highend FPGAs.
- Testing and support to qualification of integrated circuits in accordance with ECSS or MIL standards.
- Design implementation and delivery of integrated circuits testing setups.
- Field trips for radiation vibration and shock testing of space electronics equipment.
- Create and maintain comprehensive technical project doentation.
- Mentor less experience designers.
- Support EEE parts and electronics equipment failure investigations.
Required ss experience and candidate profile:
- University degree and/or PhD in Engineering or Physics specialization in electronics.
- Solid basis in electronics design.
- Must have experience developing space hardware.
- Proficient in using circuit capture tools (Altium) as well as simulation tools at system and circuit level.
- Experience in component testing excellence in laboratory equipment use and setting up test systems.
- Must have experience working with complex multiFPGAs and microprocessors systems.
- Knowledge of revision control tools
- Knowledge of MIL/ECSS standards for HW and SW development
- Knowledge of Matlat/Silulink is a plus
- Knowledge of Labview is a plus
- Experience in radiation testing of space grade components and systems is a plus.
- Experience with highspeed operational amplifiers high speed data conversion (ADC DAC) high precision measurement and low noise acquisition is a plus.
- The candidate must be Proficient in English.
- The candidate must be eligible to work in the EU and must be able to travel to the US.
