JOB TITLE: Aerospace Structural Mechanic III

LOCATION: Savannah GA

Summary:

• Perform assembly and fitting of parts including drilling and riveting ensuring all assemblies meet requirements. Transition to new tasks with minimal impact on goals and schedules.

• Use various tools for riveting and structural work.

• Remove fasteners without damaging structures.

• Read work orders blueprints and operation sheets.

• Ensure defectfree assemblies before final inspection.

• Assist in interpreting blueprints and resolving production issues.

• Maintain logs and records (e.g. MIR sheets DMTs PCOs).

• Align and assemble parts using jigs fixtures and fasteners.

• Make repairs and perform rework to ensure conformity.

• Maintain a clean work area support 5S and Lean initiatives and comply with safety regulations.

• Work independently and support lean activities.

Required Skills:

• High School Diploma or GED.

• 3 years of structural assembly experience.

• Preferred experience with Solumina Smarteam and Qstamp.

• Basic computer skills and ability to read a scale.

• Proficient in basic shop math and document comprehension.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet schedules.

• Good housekeeping and safety practices.

• Skilled in close tolerance work and special tools.

• Experience with composite resins and materials.

• Ability to lift 50 lbs climb ladders and stairs and work in confined spaces.

• Availability to work any shift.
