Quality urance ETL Tester Jira SQL TOSCA

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Product Owners Scrum Masters Developers System and Release Management teams to ensure seamless code transitions across environments.
• Take ownership of test strategy defect management test progress reporting and escalate issues and risks as necessary.
• Create manage and condition test data in accordance with specific test data requirements while maintaining the confidentiality and security of sensitive information.
• Conduct functional software testing to verify that developed features meet defined requirements.
• Perform thorough data testing/validation and develop advanced SQL queries for testing database integrity and functionality.
• Execute ETL testing to validate data extraction transformation and loading processes.
• Utilize Tosca Test Automation tool to enhance testing efficiency and coverage.
• Operate within an Agile framework efficiently using tools such as Jira for task management and bug tracking.
• Communicate effectively in both written and verbal form with team members and stakeholders at all levels.
• Multitask effectively prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a highpressure environment.
• Employ critical thinking and problemsolving skills to address testing challenges and improve test processes.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an ETL Tester or similar role in a software testing environment.
• Strong understanding of and experience in data testing/validation.
• Advanced proficiency in writing complex SQL queries.
• Demonstrated experience in ETL testing and knowledge of ETL tools and processes.
• Practical experience with Tosca Test Automation tool.
• Familiarity with Agile methodology and proficiency in using Jira.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong multitasking abilities and the aptitude to work well under demanding situations.
• The ability to prioritize work and meet strict deadlines.
• Proven critical thinking and problemsolving abilities.

Primary Skills:

• Jira SQL TOSCA

Preferred Skills:

• Certifications in software testing (ISTQB CSTE etc.) are an advantage.
• Experience with additional test automation and management tools.
• Knowledge of data warehousing and reporting concepts.
