Responsibilities:
Design and Architecture: Develop and implement Virtual Endpoint (VE) solutions to meet organizational requirements.
Deployment and Configuration: Install configure and maintain Omnissa Horizon infrastructure and Cloud Virtual Endpoint environments in the Azure Cloud.
Management: Oversee desktop pools application pools and instant clones.
Monitoring and Maintenance: Ensure the health performance and availability of the VE environments through regular updates and patches.
Support and Troubleshooting: Provide technical support to endusers resolving issues related to connectivity performance and compatibility.
Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of the VE environment including configurations procedures and troubleshooting guides.
Reporting: Generate reports on VE performance usage and capacity planning.
Collaboration: Work closely with other engineering teams to ensure seamless delivery of virtual desktops and applications.
Disaster Recovery: Manage disaster recovery and backup strategies for cloudbased systems.
Primarily the engineer will be working with our cloud VDI environment to automate image build processes create DR environments in disparate regions from the production regions and automate the DR flip process. The engineer will also be responsible for identifying any other processes in the cloud that can be automated.
