ANESTHESIA TECH CERT75 MILE STRAIGHT LINE RADIUS RULE (not driving distance) NO LOCAL TRAVELERS Please only submit candidates that area aware of their submission to our facility. Please note time off requests must be disclosed with initial submission to be considered for approval. Time off requested after the acceptance date will not be approved. When submitting candidates include at least two references (one must be from current manager) a resume and completed skills checklist/competency assessment.13 weeks assignment 2 years experience current required in large OR. Anesthesia Tech experience required. Experience required in Recovery Room ICU Emergency Room Operation Room Pharmacy or BioMed setting. Must be a team player flexible and accustomed to fast paced environment. Must have successfully completed at least one 13week travel assignment.CERTIFICATIONS: BLS and ACLS required. BLS (ACLS and BLS must be completed through American Heart Association American Health and Safety or American Red Cross. EPIC EMR experience preferred. ASATT (American Society of Anesthesia Technologists and Technicians) certification required.Responsibilities Provides supplies and equipment to each anesthetizing location in proper working order.SHIFT: Varied Shifts may fluctuate to fulfill department staffing needs. Weekends on call and holidays may be required. Travelers are first to float within facility and to alternate locations within 20 miles of permanent assigned location. Traveling pairs are not guaranteed same schedules or same shifts.ORIENTATION: Is the first week of the contract not to exceed 40 total hours and includes EPIC training (Epic test out available if has used Epic in last six months) SCRUBS: Required not provided
