Our client is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in Rock Island IL. As a progressive care/stepdown nurse you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide highquality care to patients who are transitioning from critical care to a more stable condition.

Responsibilities:

Assess and monitor patients conditions including vital signs lab results and medication reactions

Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician

Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans

Provide education and support to patients and their families on disease management and treatment plans

Monitor and document patient progress and communicate any changes in condition to the healthcare team

Assist with procedures and interventions as needed

Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients and their families

Adhere to all policies procedures and standards of nursing practice

Qualifications:

Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Illinois

Minimum of 1 year of experience in progressive care or stepdown unit

BLS and ACLS certifications

Strong critical thinking and problemsolving skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Willingness to work 12hour shifts and rotate weekends as needed
