Job Title: Registered Nurse Electrophysiology Lab (Nursing)

Location: Rochester NY 14617

Payrate: $78/hr

Duration: 13 Weeks Contarct

Guaranteed Hours: 40

• AHA BLS & AHA ACLS
• 2 years of specialty experience in CL/EP required.
• Procedural Cath and EP.
• MI heart failure unknown cardiac illness.
• Impella LVAD ECMO IABP Arterial sheath removal Arterial Blood Gases Blood Product Administration Chest Tubes Biphasic Defibrillation Art lines Central Lines.
• EPIC EMR System.
• Floating is expected within line of service.
• Expected to work every other weekend.
• Expected to work every other holiday

• Provide direct patient care in the Electrophysiology (EP) Lab including pre intra and postprocedure care.
• Assist with electrophysiology studies ablations pacemaker/ICD insertions and other related procedures.
• Monitor patients vital signs and cardiac rhythms during procedures.
• Administer medications as needed and per protocol.
• Educate patients and their families about procedures care plans and followup care.
• Collaborate with physicians technicians and other healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and uptodate patient records and documentation.
• Ensure a sterile and safe environment in the EP Lab.

Qualifications:

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New York.
• BSN preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certification required.
• Experience in electrophysiology cardiology or critical care preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fastpaced highstress environment.
