Job Description
Company Overview: Our client is a leading engineering services company in the Middle East specializing in the manufacturing repair and servicing of oilfield and gas equipment operating a stateoftheart facility in Bahrain with extensive capabilities approved by global OEMs.
Position Responsibilities
- Manage all accounting transactions including accounts payable/receivable and balance sheets.
- Prepare financial statements reports and budget forecasts.
- Reconcile financial discrepancies and analyze account information to identify and resolve issues.
- Conduct financial audits ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations and assist in tax return preparation.
- Oversee payments by verifying documentation and requesting disbursements.
- Maintain financial data confidentiality and perform database backups.
- Guide and support accounting staff ensuring adherence to financial policies and procedures.
- Report on company financial health including liquidity analysis and variance reporting.
- Perform financial analysis and recommend actions based on findings.
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of proven accounting experience in the oil and gas industry
Bachelors Degree in Accounting or related field.
Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
Strong understanding of financial trends principles and regulations.
Excellent communication leadership and presentation skills.
Ability to guide employees in financial processes and compliance with statutory legislation.
