Job description:

• 10 years of experience working with Cassandra in production environments with a deep understanding of its architecture replication strategies and tuning techniques.
• Handson experience with Kubernetes especially in managing distributed systems such as Cassandra within a containerized environment.
• Strong foundation of Linux administration fundamentals.
• Familiarity with observability best practices and tools such as Prometheus Grafana or ELK Stack.
• Proficiency in automation and scripting languages (e.g. Python Go Bash) to streamline infrastructure management tasks.
• Strong problemsolving abilities with a focus on diagnosing performance and scalability issues in distributed systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Technical Writing (Documentation process documents proposals).
• Kubernetes certifications are desirable (e.g. Certified Kubernetes Administrator
• (CKA) or Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD)).
• Knowledge of the cloud platform (e.g. droplets spaces networking) and infrastructureascode tools (e.g. ansible chef) is advantageous.
