Summary:

The Registered Respiratory Therapist provides respiratory care services to patients with breathing disorders or cardiovascular issues under physician orders. This includes administering oxygen managing ventilators performing chest physiotherapy and monitoring patient progress.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and treat patients with respiratory and cardiopulmonary conditions.
• Administer therapeutic respiratory treatments including oxygen and medication.
• Monitor patient status and adjust treatments as needed.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families about managing respiratory conditions.

Requirements:

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential.
• Valid NY state respiratory therapy license.
• BLS certification (required) ACLS certification (preferred).
• 12 years of experience (preferred).
