Key Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain cardiac catheterization equipment
- Assist cardiologists with diagnostic imaging procedures
- Monitor patients during cath lab procedures
- Prepare and position patients for angiography and other cardiac interventions
- Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure patient safety and comfort
- Respond to emergency situations with efficiency and composure
- Maintain accurate patient records and procedure documentation
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the cath lab and equipment
- Participate in ongoing training and skill development
- Adhere to radiation safety and infection control protocols
- Provide compassionate care and support to patients and their families

Required Qualifications
- Associates degree in cardiovascular technology or related field
- Certification as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS)
- Previous experience in a cardiac cath lab or interventional cardiology setting
- Proficiency in medical terminology and cardiac medications
- Comprehensive understanding of cardiac anatomy and physiology
- Ability to interpret EKGs and hemodynamic data
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fastpaced environment
- Knowledge of and adherence to radiation safety protocols
- Capability to remain calm and focused during emergency situations
- Attention to detail and strong problemsolving abilities
