Allen & York are excited to be working with one of the UK's largest and fastest growing environmental, health, safety and engineering consultancies, serving clients globally across the energy, property, manufacturing, public and transport sectors.
Our client is looking for an analytical Quantity Surveyor/Estimator to join the solar and wind division, helping clients to select the right technology to reduce their energy consumption.
You'll be responsible for overseeing and managing the commercial and financial aspects of a number of projects throughout their life cycle, from tender to post construction phase.
You'll need a BSc (Hons) in Commercial Management and Quantity Surveying or equivalent and hold membership of a relevant professional body such as RICS, CIOB or ICE. With extensive experience in a quantity surveying role, you'll also have experience of working in the renewable energy sector, with a solid understanding of the construction and renewable energy industry. You'll have demonstrable skills in bid writing, tendering and estimating, with the ability to lead and effectively report to senior staff. An excellent communicator, you'll enjoy building strong relationships and working collaboratively with your colleagues and clients.
