Job Title: Oracle Cloud DBA & PCA Administrator
Location: Atlanta GA (Onsite from Day One)
Max Rate: $75/hr
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Oracle Cloud DBA & PCA Administrator to join our team in Atlanta GA. In this role you will be responsible for the administration optimization and troubleshooting of Oracle Cloud databases as well as managing Oracle Private Cloud Appliance (PCA). Your expertise in cloud infrastructure and database management will be key in ensuring the performance security and availability of our systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oracle Cloud Database Management: Ensure the performance availability and scalability of Oracle Cloud databases.
- Oracle PCA Administration: Handle deployment configuration monitoring and support of Oracle Private Cloud Appliance (PCA).
- Backup & Recovery: Implement and manage robust backup recovery and disaster recovery strategies.
- Performance Optimization: Troubleshoot database performance issues applying best practices for tuning and optimization.
- Collaboration: Work with crossfunctional teams including developers and operations to support databaserelated projects.
- Patching & Updates: Ensure that the Oracle database environment is up to date with patches and necessary updates.
- Documentation & Training: Provide documentation guidance and training to internal teams as required.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Oracle DBA with a strong focus on cloud environments.
- Extensive knowledge of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and Oracle Private Cloud Appliance (PCA).
- Expertise in database performance tuning troubleshooting and diagnostics.
- Solid experience with backup recovery and disaster recovery strategies.
- Strong problemsolving skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills with a proven ability to work in a team setting.
