Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Senior Business Development Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a robust analytical mindset exceptional business acumen and a proven track record of driving growth through datadriven insights. As a Senior Business Development Analyst you will be responsible for identifying and evaluating business opportunities optimizing operational processes and providing actionable recommendations to senior management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Opportunity Identification: Research and identify new business opportunities and potential markets. Analyze market trends competitor activities and customer needs to develop actionable insights.
- Data Analysis: Conduct comprehensive analyses of business performance market conditions and industry trends. Utilize advanced analytical tools and techniques to interpret data and generate reports.
- Strategy Development: Collaborate with senior management to develop and refine business strategies. Provide strategic recommendations based on data analysis and market research.
- Business Case Development: Prepare detailed business cases and feasibility studies for new projects products or market entries. Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of business development initiatives. Propose improvements and adjustments as needed.
- Stakeholder Communication: Work closely with crossfunctional teams including marketing sales and finance to ensure alignment and support for business development efforts. Communicate findings and strategies clearly to senior management and other stakeholders.
- Process Optimization: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in business development activities.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelors degree in Business Administration Economics Finance or a related field. An MBA or relevant advanced degree is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 57 years of experience in business development strategy or a related analytical role with a strong track record of driving growth and business performance.
- Skills:
- Advanced analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g. Excel SQL Tableau).
- Strong business acumen and understanding of market dynamics.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proven problemsolving abilities and strategic thinking.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g. Certified Business Analysis Professional) are a plus.
