Job Description
Overview
Key responsibilities
- Collaborate with teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions
- Use SQL and Python to extract transform and analyze large data sets
- Develop and maintain database systems and processes
- Implement statistical models to extract insights from data
- Create data visualizations and reports to communicate findings
- Identify and address data quality issues
- Automate repetitive data tasks
- Conduct adhoc analysis to support business needs
- Participate in data governance and compliance activities
- Contribute to the improvement of data management processes
- Maintain and update technical documentation
Required qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Statistics Mathematics or a related field
- 2 years of experience in data analysis engineering or related role
- Proficiency in SQL and database management
- Strong programming skills in Python or R
- Experience with statistical modeling and analysis
- Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau Power BI or similar
- Familiarity with ETL processes and tools
- Ability to work with large complex data sets
- Understanding of data governance and compliance
- Excellent problemsolving and analytical abilities
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Detailoriented with a focus on accuracy
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively
