Job Summary: The HR Data Analyst is responsible for collecting analyzing and reporting on HR data to support datadriven decisionmaking within the Human Resources department. This role involves working closely with HR leadership and crossfunctional teams to identify trends track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide actionable insights that align with the organizations strategic goals. The HR Data Analyst plays a critical role in optimizing HR processes and enhancing the overall effectiveness of the HR function.
Key Responsibilities:

Data Collection and Management:
- Collect organize and maintain HR data from various sources including HRIS payroll systems employee surveys and other relevant databases.
- Ensure the accuracy integrity and security of HR data by implementing data validation and quality control processes.
- Develop and maintain databases dashboards and reporting tools to streamline data management and reporting.

Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Analyze HR data to identify trends patterns and insights related to workforce demographics employee turnover engagement performance and other key HR metrics.
- Prepare and deliver regular reports dashboards and presentations to HR leadership and business stakeholders highlighting key findings and recommendations.
- Use data visualization tools (e.g. Power BI Tableau) to create compelling visualizations that communicate complex data in an accessible and actionable way.

HR Metrics and KPIs:
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of HR initiatives programs and processes.
- Monitor and report on metrics such as timetohire turnover rates employee engagement scores diversity and inclusion metrics and compensation analysis.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on KPI analysis to improve HR strategies and operations.

Support HR Initiatives:
- Collaborate with HR teams on strategic initiatives such as workforce planning talent management diversity and inclusion and employee engagement.
- Provide datadriven support for HR projects including the development of business cases scenario modeling and impact analysis.
- Assist in the design and implementation of HR surveys assessments and other data collection tools.

Compliance and Reporting:
- Ensure compliance with federal state and local regulations related to HR data reporting such as EEO1 VETS4212 and other required filings.
- Prepare and submit HR compliance reports as needed ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Maintain uptodate knowledge of HR data privacy laws and regulations and ensure that all data handling practices comply with legal requirements.

DataDriven Decision Making:
- Partner with HR leaders to identify data needs and provide actionable insights to support strategic decisionmaking.
- Conduct adhoc analyses to address specific HRrelated questions or challenges providing datadriven recommendations to HR leadership.
- Continuously seek opportunities to leverage data and analytics to improve HR processes enhance employee experience and drive organizational success.

- Stay current with industry trends best practices and emerging technologies in HR analytics and data management.
- Participate in professional development and training to enhance analytical skills and knowledge of HR metrics.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR data processes tools and reporting capabilities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources Data Science Statistics Business Administration or a related field.
- 24 years of experience in data analysis HR analytics or a related role.
- Strong proficiency in data analysis tools and software such as Excel SQL Power BI Tableau or similar platforms.
- Solid understanding of HR processes metrics and best practices.
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex data in a clear and concise manner to nontechnical stakeholders.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy and integrity.
