Job Title : Software Development Engineer (SDE) Application Support and Optimization
Job Type : C2C
Experience : 6 to 12 years
Location : Redmond Washington
Responsibilities:
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and methodologies.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java Python or C#.
- Experience with code review processes and quality assurance practices.
- Excellent problemsolving skills and ability to optimize code.
- Familiarity with ticketing systems incident management and tracking.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to interact with customers and resolve issues efficiently.
- Production support experience and adherence to RACI matrices.
- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS Azure or Google Cloud.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and continuous integration/deployment tools.
- Knowledge of SQL database management and system architecture.
- Experience with automation tools and practices to optimize development processes.
- Design develop and implement software applications and systems based on customer requirements.
- Analyze technical specifications and suggest code optimization strategies to improve performance.
- Complete timesheets and invoicing on or before the deadlines.
- Interact with customers as needed flagging requirements or issues to senior team members.
- Write and review software code in alignment with technical specifications and customer needs.
- Track open tickets/incidents and allocate them to appropriate resources within the team.
- Continuously explore ways to improve processes economize time or resources and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Adhere to quality processes update defect logs and comply with testing scripts and timelines.
- Perform selfcode reviews ensuring compliance with standards and guidelines.
- Prepare consolidated project status reports and contribute to reusability accuracy and efficiency improvements.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to meet individual and collective goals contributing to overall team success.
- Provide application production support following the process/RACI Matrix.
Qualification:
- Bachelors degree in computer science engineering or a related field.
