Responsibilities

You will be working with elite investment professionals to build cuttingedge high quality alpha signals and platform. In this role you will

• Migrate data pipelines that load vendor data to Sybase IQ away from a legacy SAS/Informatica stack. Adapt to utilize Snowflake based datasets and an internal Python framework.
• Partner with other teams to integrate.

• Identify and implement ways to improve the efficiency of our system.

Qualifications

• We value postgraduate degree holders and we also value individuals with equivalent commercial experience.
• BA/BS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
• At least 5 years experience working in data analytics environments.
• 5 years experience in SAS
• 5 years experience in Python
• 2 years experience in Informatica
• 2 years experience in DBT
• Experience with dev ops tools like Git Maven or Azure DevOps
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Passion for learning and implementing new technologies.

Skills that would be a plus

• 2 years experience in SQL and Cloud technologies including S3 Kubernetes AzureML and Dask / Airflow
• Experience / Familiarity with databases and cloud data platforms such as Snowflake Databricks etc.
• ContainerOrchestration technologies like Kubernetes
• Experience working on a globally distributed team
