Job Description
Overview:
The role of a Graduate/Undergraduate Data Analyst/Analytics is instrumental in providing insights and recommendations to support key business decisions. This position plays a crucial part in identifying trends interpreting data and creating reports to aid in strategic planning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect clean and wrangle data from various sources
- Analyze and interpret complex data sets
- Create visualizations and reports to communicate findings
- Identify patterns and trends in data sets
- Develop and maintain databases and data systems
- Assist in the development and implementation of data collection systems
- Conduct statistical analysis and utilize predictive modeling techniques
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to integrate datadriven solutions
- Identify and evaluate potential data sources
- Produce and present findings to internal and external stakeholders
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in data analysis
- Use statistical tools and programming languages to analyze data
- Assist in the continuous improvement of data collection and analysis processes
- Contribute to the development of data governance policies and procedures
- Support adhoc data analysis requests
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Data Science Statistics Mathematics Computer Science or a related field
- Proficiency in statistical analysis and data manipulation
- Experience or coursework in data visualization and reporting tools
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Python R or SQL
- Strong problemsolving and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work with large datasets and databases
- Knowledge of machine learning techniques is a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Detailoriented and able to maintain accuracy while handling large volumes of data
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Understanding of data governance and security principles
- Experience with business intelligence tools is advantageous
- Demonstrated passion for working with data and deriving insights from it
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies
