Job Description
Overview:
The Talend Developer plays a crucial role in designing developing and implementing data integration solutions using Talend ETL tools. They are responsible for ensuring the efficiency integrity and security of the organizations data. This role is essential in driving datadriven decisionmaking and enabling seamless data flows within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data integration requirements
- Design develop and deploy ETL processes using Talend
- Optimize data integration jobs for performance and scalability
- Ensure data quality and integrity through thorough testing and validation
- Create and maintain technical documentation
- Collaborate with database administrators and data analysts to support data needs
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for data integration processes
- Implement best practices for data security and privacy
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in ETL technologies
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field
- Proven experience as a Talend Developer or in a similar role
- Proficiency in Talend ETL tools and processes
- Strong understanding of ETL principles and best practices
- Expertise in Java programming for customization and scripting in Talend
- Proficient in SQL and database query optimization
- Experience in data modeling and schema design
- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and techniques
