Job Overview:
We are seeking a detailoriented and motivated Spare Parts Manager to join the automobile industry. The candidate will be responsible for managing the inventory of automobile spare parts ensuring the timely availability of parts and maintaining optimal stock levels. This role requires excellent organizational skills strong attention to detail and a passion for the automotive industry.
Job Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate records of spare parts inventory.
- Monitor stock levels and place orders to replenish supplies as needed.
- Source and procure spare parts from reliable suppliers.
- Negotiate prices and terms with suppliers to ensure costeffective purchasing.
- Ensure timely delivery of parts to meet customer and service requirements.
- Assist customers and service technicians in identifying and locating required spare parts.
- Provide technical support and advice on spare parts selection.
- Handle customer inquiries orders and returns efficiently.
- Maintain proper documentation of all transactions including purchase orders invoices and delivery notes.
- Prepare and present inventory reports to management.
- Work closely with the service and sales teams to understand parts requirements.
- Coordinate with warehouse staff for efficient storage and handling of parts.
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or any graduate.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in spare parts management preferably in the automotive industry.
- Strong knowledge of automobile spare parts and their applications.
- Proficient in inventory management software and MS Office Suite.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Detailoriented with a strong commitment to accuracy.
