Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Business Analyst to join our dynamic finance team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in analyzing financial data developing insightful reports and providing strategic recommendations to support business decisions. This role requires a strong understanding of financial principles excellent analytical skills and the ability to communicate complex information effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Analysis: Conduct indepth analysis of financial statements budgets forecasts and performance metrics to identify trends variances and areas for improvement.
- Reporting: Prepare and present detailed financial reports dashboards and presentations for senior management and stakeholders.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in the development of annual budgets and financial forecasts including scenario analysis and variance analysis.
- Data Management: Collect clean and analyze financial data from various sources to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Business Partnership: Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to understand business needs provide financial insights and support decisionmaking processes.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance financial reporting and analysis.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with financial regulations accounting standards and internal controls.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Business Administration or a related field. A Masters degree or professional certification (e.g. CFA CPA) is a plus.
- Experience: Experience in financial analysis business analysis or a related role.
- Skills: Strong proficiency in financial modeling data analysis and financial reporting. Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial software (e.g. SAP Oracle Hyperion) are required.
- Analytical Abilities: Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
- Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present financial information to nonfinancial stakeholders.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of financial analysis and reporting.
