Job Description
Overview:
The Analyst/Senior Analyst Financial Data Management plays a critical role in the organization by managing financial data ensuring accuracy and providing insights for informed decisionmaking. They are responsible for ensuring the integrity and reliability of financial data while supporting financial reporting and analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to understand data requirements
- Develop and maintain financial data models and databases
- Perform data validation and ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data
- Conduct financial analysis to support business decisions
- Generate and distribute financial reports and dashboards
- Identify and implement process improvements for data management
- Work with stakeholders to address datarelated inquiries and issues
- Ensure compliance with data governance and security policies
- Contribute to the development of data management best practices
- Participate in data migration and integration projects
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Business or a related field
- 2 years of experience in financial data management or analysis
Basic qualifications:
A Masters degree in any stream with up to 5 years of professional experience
Outstanding communication skills including proven written oral and presentation abilities in a businessfocused setting
A highly analytical and creative mindset with a desire to learn and take on new challenges
The ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders including but not limited to internal users/teams vendor account managers and product owners
The ability to multitask prioritize critical deliverables and have high accuracy and attention to detail
Preferred qualifications:
- Prior exposure in people management
Key skills: market data master data management financial data financial data management vendor management vendor negotiation
Preferred certification: FIA (from FISD institute)
