Job Description

A leading engineering consulting firm with a long history in the Southeast is looking to add a Design Engineer to their Atlanta team!


Responsibilities:

  • Develop project designs calculations and assessment reports for the Project Manager/Engineer of Record
  • Perform analysis of existing structures
  • Develop drawings/specifications
  • Ensure all projects comply with applicable codes/regulations
  • Assist with project/meeting coordination
  • Review project submittals/shop drawings
  • Learn about construction practices through project visits
  • Provide onsite construction observation
  • Organize field data for facilitate analysis/problem solving
  • Interact with higher level engineers/design technicians
  • Attend meetings
  • Learn how to expand business opportunities
  • Perform calculations per design specifications/industry standards
  • Assist with QA/QC standards meeting client expectations


Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering
  • Master s degree in Civil Engineering preferred
  • 02 years of experience
  • EIT preferred
  • Proficient in Revit and/or AutoCAD


Salary is commensurate with experience.
