Location: Waukesha WI 53189

Shift: 1st shift MonFri 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Description:

Our familyowned and operated company is immediately hiring for a secondshift welder experienced with GMAW Flux and Sub Arc welding in WaukeshaWI. Youll be working Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Welder Duties and Responsibilities

• Fluxcore 3/32 or Solidwire 0.45 or 0.52

• Read and comprehend blueprints

• Know and understand welding symbols

• Move material using a forklift and crane

• Verify the correct quantity and quality of parts welded

• Select and install proper welding wire and gas mixture

• Operate a fuel gas hand torch for heat straightening purposes

• Setup and fine tune welding machine for proper wire speed and machine voltage

Welder Qualifications and Requirements

• Know and understand welding symbols

• 35 years of welding experience preferred

• Experience with Fluxcore 3/32 and/or Solidwire 0.45 or 0.52

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred

• Heavy Manufacturing in a Job Shop preferred

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. when required
