Position Title: Customer Service Representative
Location : San Diego CA 92111
Duration : 3 months
Shift : 1st shift (8:30am5pm)
Job description:
- Under the supervision of the Customer Service Supervisor the Customer Service Representatives primary job function is to promote favorable relationships with members providers and health plans through the prompt accurate and courteous resolution of issues including but not limited to the following: authorization processing claim research coordinating translation services and Primary Care Provider changes
Requirements:
- H.S. Diploma GED or Equivalent
- 1 year of experience as a Customer Service Representative in a healthcare setting such as a hospital medical group health insurance or other RBO
- Knowledge of medical terminology to include ICD10 codes CPT codes and HCPC codes
- Computer skills to include Excel Word Outlook and data entry systems
