Its the responsibility of the Project Risk Analyst to:
Actively support project teams and Risk & Action Owners to maintain risk information within the risk
register to ensure the risk registers integrity. In this role he / she facilitates risk meetings and/or
workshops with Tender/Project Teams and Subject Matter Experts.
Highlight missing information and inconsistencies in Risk Registers to Tender/Project Leaders and
Risk Owners in a timely manner and tracks progress of Mitigation Plans. The Project Risk Analyst
together w/ the Project Risk Manager have the responsibility to maintain the integrity of the entries
into the register. They must ensure that risks are properly captured as per set standards. Though the
responsibility of notifying risks to the Project Risk Analyst and/or Project Risk Manager and the active
follow through of mitigation plans lies in the responsibility of the dedicated Tender/Project Leaders
Subject Matter Experts and Risk Owners respectively.
Analyze the Project Schedule and Cost Risks (with guidance from Project Risk Managers) and to
provide Risk Report Packages to tender and project teams according to set standards and timescales.
For this the Project Risk Analyst uses standardized software tools and formats as their skill level
progresses.
Work in compliance with the Project Life Cycle and provides risk related deliverables for Project &
Gate Reviews.
Keep track of typical risks that may constitute reason for escalation to business leaders as input for
continuous improvement and business development.
Deputize the Project Risk Manager and vice versa during absences as required.
