Partner Staffing is currently working with our client to find a Junior Electrical Designer based out of their Calgary Alberta office. Description
Design and drafting of power distribution lighting and voice/data using AutoCAD and REVIT; Assist Project Managers to meet clients deliverables; Coordinate with the design team.
- To deliver creative detailed and coordinated design solutions on budget and on time.
- Assist Project Manager and team members to ensure projects stay on schedule and budget.
Requirements
- Strong AutoCAD and REVIT Skills
- Wire conduit and breaker sizing lighting design and fire alarm design
- Knowledge of AGI32 preferred
- Ability to review interpret and apply building codes in different jurisdictions
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Thrive in a fastpaced working environment
- Ability to identify potential risks and report them to the PMs
- 1 2 years of working experience in the building industry with extensive REVIT and AutoCAD experience
- A bachelor s degree in electrical engineering or other related fields
- Motivated and passionate about designing and building systems
- Committed to meet deadlines
- Adaptability and ability to pivot to meet ondemand requests on short notice
- Meet clients deliverables
- Deliver creative detailed and coordinated design solutions on budget and on time

Successful completion of a bachelor s degree in civil engineering from an accredited University. 5 plus years of experience in an engineering discipline, specifically in municipal and land development. Must be a registered member of the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA) Experience with Civil 3D software. Experience in Stormwater Management design is an asset. Strong presentation, verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
