The Sales Representative plays a crucial role in driving revenue and growth for the organization. Key responsibilities
- Identify and approach potential customers to understand their requirements
- Present promote and sell products/services using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers
- Establish develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships
- Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule
- Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments
- Analyze the territory/market s potential track sales and status reports
- Supply management with reports on customer needs problems interests competitive activities and potential for new products and services
- Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends
- Continuously improve through feedback
- Attend sales meetings trade shows and training sessions to stay current on industry trends and market changes
- Negotiate/close deals and handle complaints or objections
- Collaborate with team members to achieve better results
- Maintain a professional and tidy appearance adhering to company standards
- Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing products new products delivery schedules merchandising techniques etc.
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
Required qualifications
- Bachelor s degree in business administration sales marketing or related field
- Proven work experience as a Sales Representative or relevant role
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software (e.g. Salesforce)
- Excellent knowledge of the market and its current events
- Excellent selling communication and negotiation skills
- Prioritizing time management and organizational skills
- Relationship management skills and openness to feedback
- Driving license and a clean driving record
- Availability to travel as needed
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Certification or training in sales techniques is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to communicate present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization
- Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
