Job Purpose
Provide support on strategic projects and maintenance of routine operational and administrative support to Corporate & Investment Banking (Coverage and Advisory team)
Role & Responsibilities
- Strategic detailed analysis on important topics for Corporate coverage and advisory team: development strategy (existing and new business line) market intelligence business plans budgets etc.;
- Assist Head of Corporate Coverage & Advisory to initiate facilitate and measure various projects in relation to corporate banking business development;
- Align with the regional Corporate Coverage Group and Corporate Markets Group Business Management Team
- Coordinate activities across coverage teams and with various product teams;
- Arrange relevant meetings like Local Exco take meeting minutes and follow up with stakeholders for necessary actions
- Lead Internal projects related to corporate coverage and advisory
- Coordinate NCAP meetings monitoring CRM lite reports RM calling plan etc
- Client complaint register for the business
- 6 monthly governance and audit process for ensuring compliance to RBI current a/c circular
- Maintenance of 60:40 facility split (WCDLOD) for all eligible clients
- Regular reviews of Exit client portfolio in conjunction with business RMs
- Assist in preparation and maintenance of MIS and presentations for internal marketing sessions
- Support client events and specific client marketing initiatives
- Supervise and track credit committee process CCS deliverables KYC related topics and general updates
Additional Responsibilities
- Direct contribution to Bank operational permanent control framework.
- Contribute to the implementation of operational permanent control policies and procedures in daytoday business activities such as Control Plan
- Comply with regulatory requirements and internal guidelines
- Contribute to the reporting of all incidents according to the Incident Management System
- Ensure audit recommendations are resolved within the specific timeline.
- Endeavor to ensure the quality of the Banks portfolio remains sound and healthy.
- Monitor MIS and submissions for various internal forums Quarterly risk reviews watch list committee greylist sector reviews LEI tracker dormant account tracker
- Monitor client excess reports across various categories/products
- Supervise and track CCS deliverables KYC related topics and general updates
- Support the management on RBI and Internal Audit (IG) inspections. Ensure that audit findings and recommendations are resolved within specific timelines
- Work in tandem with Control teams to ensure timely closure of findings and recommendations
- Support all TAC NAC related interfaces where corporate coverage and advisory business needs to participate
- Monitor BCP on a quarterly basis
- Ensure timely billing revenue booking process followedPrepare all deal related client invoices for Corporate and Advisory team
- Process the invoices by liaising with clients office and the internal tax fincon teams
- Liaise with the internal remittance team for internal accounting of the invoices
- Liaise with the Fincon Tax and IG team deal related documentation / queries post invoicing
- Process the various vendor invoices related to deals
- Monitor the UPSI data base on a quarterly basis to ensure all deals are captured
- Monitor the Gift and Entertainment register on a quarterly basis
- Liaising with admin and IT team for the administration and smooth functioning of the department
- Managing the filing and storage of important documents for the Coverage and Advisory team
- Ensure proper record keeping for all deals / transactions
Candidate Profile:
- Good knowledge about banking industry particularly re corporate/investment banking and capital markets
- Outstanding analytical and reasoning skills
- Excellent communication presentation & interpersonal skills in terms of both effective/efficient in external and internal coordination
- Attention to detail with high standard while capable of effectively manage multitasks
concurrently - Fast learner proven team player and enjoy working hard
- International consulting experience combined with banking experience is a plus
- PC knowledge: e.g. Word Advanced Excel Power Point
Skills:
- University graduates (PostGraduation / MBA will be an advantage)
- 35 years relevant working experience banking industry/consulting firms preferably
