Job Title: Planning Engineer & Reporting Specialist Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and detailoriented Planning Engineer & Reporting Specialist proficient in Power BI to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing project planning activities while utilizing Power BI to create insightful reports and dashboards. This role requires a blend of technical expertise project management skills and data analysis capabilities.
Responsibilities:- Develop comprehensive project plans timelines and schedules in collaboration with project managers and stakeholders.
- Conduct thorough analysis of project requirements constraints and objectives to create realistic plans.
- Monitor project progress and identify potential risks or deviations from the plan.
- Coordinate with crossfunctional teams to ensure alignment of project schedules and resources.
- Utilize Power BI to extract transform and visualize data from various sources.
- Develop interactive dashboards and reports to provide actionable insights to project stakeholders.
- Perform adhoc analysis to support decisionmaking processes and identify trends or patterns in project data.
- Ensure data accuracy consistency and integrity in all reporting activities.
- Generate regular progress reports performance metrics and KPIs to track project milestones and objectives.
- Customize reports according to specific project requirements and stakeholder preferences.
- Present findings and recommendations to project teams and senior management in a clear and concise manner.
- Continuously optimize reporting processes and formats to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Collaborate closely with project managers engineers and other stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure alignment on project goals.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners to coordinate planning activities and resolve issues.
- Foster a culture of datadriven decisionmaking by promoting the use of Power BI and other analytical tools across the organization.
Qualifications:- Bachelors degree in Engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project planning scheduling and coordination preferably in engineering or construction projects.
- Proficiency in Power BI and other data visualization tools strongly emphasizing creating interactive dashboards and reports.
- Solid understanding of data analysis techniques including modeling querying and manipulation.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail and problemsolving skills with a focus on delivering highquality results within tight deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fastpaced environment prioritizing tasks effectively to meet project requirements.
