Web Developer - Cherry Computers Co WLL

Job Description:

We are seeking a talented and motivated full Time Web Developer to join our team. This role is responsible for the development maintenance and Support. The ideal candidate should have strong backend development skills with PHP and experience with popular CMS platforms like WordPress and Drupal. Experience with ecommerce backend development and familiarity with related technologies is a plus. A basic understanding of UI/UX design principles is an advantage .

Responsibilities:

Develop maintain and troubleshoot the back end platforms.

Write clean secure and efficient code in PHP.

Implement functionality using WordPress Drupal or other relevant CMS platforms.

Integrate with thirdparty APIs and payment gateways.

Optimize website performance and security.

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues

Work collaboratively with designers and other developers.

Stay uptodate on the latest trends and technologies.

Experience in UI/UX is an advantage

Qualifications:

Two years experience in PHP development.

Experience with WordPress Drupal or other CMS platforms.

Experience with ecommerce backend development (plus).

Understanding of relational databases (e.g. MySQL).

Familiarity with HTML CSS and JavaScript (a plus).

Experience with version control systems (e.g. Git).

Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills.

Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
