Job Description
Roles and responsibilities:
Lead the orchestration of creative and practical ORMB software solutions that meet business requirements within Oracle Application Framework.
Works with customers to ensure that business needs and requirements are identified and documented; seeks understanding of longerrange customer needs and emerging opportunities.
Develops project objectives and set priorities through integration with customers organizational direction.
Plans facilitates and manages the factfinding and analysis sessions of projects.
Designs and configures application software.
Analyses user and software requirements procedures and problems to automate or improve existing systems and reviews computer system capabilities workflow and scheduling limitations and defines solution parameters and specifications.
Leads the design process and facilitates design workshops.
Identify capture share iterate and implement architecture patterns to support RMB (Rating Billing Pricing) and ERP (Product Lifecycle Management Order Management Accounts Receivables: Invoicing Collections Payments) platforms delivery for Finance teams
Design technical architecture solutions (products and services) to align with the organisational technical strategy and standards.
Provide a consistent set of solution views that communicate and describe the construction of the solution to all stakeholders.
Support delivery teams blending technical (development and architecture) and behaviour (stakeholder and communication) skills.
Ensure technical quality and adherence of solution designs to the organisation s Digital Blueprint Enterprise Architecture and Product Roadmaps.
Use architecture design and modelling techniques patterns tools and standards for design delivery
Communicate and present to governance forums for review ratification and signoffs against new design patterns
Work closely with business and technology stakeholders and endusers to build a holistic view of the problem statements and mitigating options towards resolution
YOULL BRING:
Strong previous experience working in Oracle Revenue Management and Billing (ORMB) including OCI Fusion Cloud platforms
Experience of working with systems in Finance and finance operations domain: Billing Subledgers and General Ledgers
Should have functional / business knowledge on financial products
Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to communicate technical information to nontechnical partners and to listen to known concerns and adapt accordingly
Ability to combine strong conceptual and critical thinking and apply a practical mind to drive tasks
Being flexible and adaptable to new ideas and ways of working including Agile delivery
Previous experience in Microservice and APIled architecture design eventbased architecture design patterns (including pubsub and data streaming).
Handson approach with excellent problemsolving skills
Experience handling products on different solution models (SaaS (Software as a Service) PaaS (Platform as a Service) managed service etc.)
Proven record of accomplishment of using industry standard processes and frameworks
Experience working financial services or similar regulated organisation
Flexible in approach adapting plans and strategies to help handle risks around ambiguity
Preferred
Certified Solution Architect e.g. TOGAF (The Open Group Architecture Framework) or similar
Strong previous experience of delivering AR and billing functionalities using Oracle ERP SaaS
Experience of working in global organisations and sophisticated postmerger integration programmes with significant business impact
Experience of developing and influencing strategic working relationships with key technology suppliers
A continuous desire and willingness to learn and develop your current knowledge and skillset
Frequently keeps up to date with the latest industry development and technology innovations
Strategic problem solver with strong intuition for business and wellversed in current technological trends and business concepts
