As a Senior DevOps Engineer (all genders) you will be responsible for managing and optimizing the live game infrastructure for our popular and successful titles Empire and Empire Four Kingdoms as well as potential new games in the franchise.You will be part of our game development team to maintainthe stability and performance of our games ensuring that players have a seamless and enjoyable experience. Our games require the orchestration of realtime interactions and stateful services in a multiplayer scenario. As a DevOps engineer you will push the boundaries of traditional infrastructure to create a stable responsive and engaging environment for players worldwide.

Your mission
- Architect the cloud infrastructure for new services and maintain the existing setups
- Continuously improve the performance and efficiency of the current cloud infrastructure
- Develop implement and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines
- Ensure that key services are always available
- Manage and optimize monitoring and logging tools
- Troubleshoot and respond to incidents promptly
- Ensure robust backup and restore capabilities
- Implement and uphold security best practices across all systems
- Automate repetitive tasks to enhance productivity and efficiency
Your backstory
- Several years of experience managing Linux in production environments for endusers
- Skilled in provisioning entire systems from scratch using configuration management and/or Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Handson experience with various AWS products in a production setting
- A solid grasp of web infrastructure including for example HTTP and Content Delivery Networks (CDNs)
- Proven ability to navigate and manage unfamiliar or legacy systems
- Experience in fully managing complex IT infrastructures involving multiple hosts and services
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with excellent fluency in English
