Job Mission

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Category Manager (m/f/d)to lead the Solar & Batteries category at Tibber. You will beresponsible for shaping and executing the commercial strategy within this dynamic and rapidly evolving category. As a leader within our organization you will work closely with a dedicated team with a deep understanding of the commercial aspects and responsibilities in the fields of Solar and Batteries at Tibber.

This role can be performed remotely but should be based in one of the following countries: Norway Sweden Germany or the Netherlands.

Overall Category Strategy:Develop and own the overarching strategy and performance targets for the Solar and Batteries category.

Define and deliver the strategy to partner with thirdparty companies to build Tibbers Solar and Batteries functionality into their products and services.


Ecommerce Strategy and Execution for Solary & Batteries:Define and implement the ecommerce strategy for the category focusing on revenue and gross profit targets (Pricing margin payment shipping strategy).

Develop marketing and distribution targets specific to this category.Curate and manage the product offering within the category.


Partnership Strategy:
Develop a comprehensive strategy for Solar and Batteries products within the Tibber Store.

Negotiate pricing margin payment and marketing contribution strategies.

Secure stable integration and VPP business models.

Create brand partnership strategies to scale subscriptions.

Explore new business models within the Solar and Batteries space.

Ensure adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs).


Energy and VPP Strategy:Oversee the formulation of strategies related to energy and VPP in collaboration with partners.


CrossCompany Collaboration:
Work collaboratively across different departments and teams to align efforts and achieve company and category targets.


Team Leadership:
Lead and motivate the category team to perform at their best fostering a highperformance culture.


Ideal Profile


Industry Experience:Proven 10 years of experience in category leadership sales business development and/or marketing with 4 years specifically in the Solar and Batteries industry demonstrating a strong understanding of market dynamics trends and key players either from working at an OEM or within the industry.


Ecommerce Expertise:
Demonstrated expertise in ecommerce strategies including revenue generation marketing and product management.

Partnership Development: Proven experience in building and managing strategic partnerships with Solar companies and Battery manufacturers.

Energy and VPP: Knowledge of energy markets Virtual Power Plants and how they relate to the Solar and Batteries industry.

CrossFunctional Collaboration: Strong collaborative and communication skills to work effectively with diverse teams across the organization.

Leadership: A track record of successful leadership and team management with strong leadership abilities to inspire and motivate teams foster a culture of collaboration and drive results.

Innovative Thinking:
The ability to think innovatively and develop creative solutions in a rapidly evolving industry.

Commercial Mindset:
A keen understanding of commercial principles market analysis and the ability to identify revenuegenerating opportunities.

DataDriven Approach: Proficiency in utilizing data and analytics to make informed decisions measure performance and optimize strategies.

Analytical Skills:
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data analyze trends and develop actionable insights to improve performance.

Communication Skills:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

Complex Concept Articulation:
Ability to articulate complex concepts to crossfunctional audiences and cooperate with product and engineering teams.

Influence:
Demonstrated ability to earn and use influence at all levels in an organization including experience engaging and presenting to senior executives.

Adaptability:
Desire to work in a fastpaced highly ambiguous entrepreneurial culture.

Language: Fluency in English.
