Prepare and review financial statements reports and records to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
Conduct monthly quarterly and annual closings.
General Ledger Management:
Maintain and reconcile the general ledger ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded.
Manage journal entries accruals and adjustments.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
Develop and manage the annual budget working closely with department heads to ensure alignment with business goals.
Prepare financial forecasts and analyze variances between actual results and budgeted figures.
Audit and Compliance:
Coordinate and support internal and external audits providing necessary documentation and explanations.
Ensure compliance with local state and federal financial regulations and standards.
Accounts Payable and Receivable:
Oversee the accounts payable and receivable processes ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
Monitor aging reports and manage collections activities.
Tax Preparation and Filing:
Prepare and file tax returns ensuring compliance with all tax regulations.
Maintain accurate records of taxrelated documents and payments.
Process Improvement:
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.
Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in accounting.
Team Leadership:
Lead and mentor junior accounting staff providing guidance and support in their professional development.

Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field.
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation preferred.
Proven experience in a senior accounting role preferably in specific industry relevant to your company.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles standards and regulations.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks SAP Oracle) and Microsoft Office Suite.
