Job Title: Continuous Improvement Engineer

Location: Waterloo Iowa

Salary: $8595K plus bonus

Are you passionate about Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement Were looking for a talented Continuous Improvement Engineer to join our team in Waterloo Iowa. With a competitive salary and bonus structure this role offers a unique opportunity to lead and implement Lean processes driving excellence across our organization.

What Youll Do:

  • Lean Expertise: Serve as a subject matter expert leading the implementation of Lean processes and providing technical guidance to our leadership team.
  • Best Practices: Identify and leverage best practices in Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement processes.
  • Strategic Development: Assist in developing strategies and identifying opportunities for improvement organizationwide.
  • Quality Systems: Evaluate and interpret industry requirements and internal Quality Management Systems (QMS) to develop robust procedures and instructions.
  • Problem Solving: Support site quality teams and senior leadership in investigating and correcting quality issues fostering continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Project Leadership: Lead and facilitate projects from our HighPerformance Team Board process.
  • ISO9001 Implementation: Oversee the installation and implementation of ISO9001 quality management systems.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering Manufacturing Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience: From new graduates to professionals with up to 5 years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering or Process Engineering.
  • Technical Skills: Expertise in ISO9000 and internal auditing; CORE Lean or SixSigma experience.
  • Process Improvement: Support manufacturing product and customer quality processes to implement process improvements.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills to facilitate visualize and communicate process flows for stakeholders and teams.
  • Relationship Building: Build strong relationships with various levels of leadership and individual contributors leveraging change management skills to influence culture.
  • Project Management: Implement projects using proactive project management skills and risk mitigation techniques.
  • Innovation: Design and deliver solutions that meet organizational needs and bring value to the organization.
  • Leadership: Lead efforts with minimal oversight set objectives and guide others to achieve operational results.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel up to 10%.
