Laboratory Assistant Open To Working Students

At Bosque Foods our vision is to accelerate the worlds transition to an environmentally sustainable equitable and animalfree food system.

Our mission is to create the next generation of meat alternatives starting with wholecut meat products grown naturally from fungal mycelium. We aim to create betterthanmeat products that deliver on the entire taste experience nutrition and price of traditional meat without compromise.

Founded in 2020 Bosque Foods is the first European fungibased meat alternative company focusing entirely on the wholecut meat segment. After graduating from the IndieBios accelerator program in New York City we are now opening our lab in Berlin Germany.

We are looking for a parttime lab assistant to join our team as soon as possible.

Tasks

• Clean and maintain incubators fermentation vessels and autoclaves.
• Prepare substrates for fermentation processes.
• Assist in the harvesting and processing of fungi.
• Support smallscale lab production activities.
• Ensure all lab equipment is properly sterilized and maintained.
• Manage inventory of lab supplies and reagents.
• Follow strict safety protocols and SOPs.

Requirements

• High school diploma or Associates degree or Bachelors degree in a related field (e.g. Biology Biotechnology).
• 02 years of experience in a laboratory setting.
• Basic understanding of laboratory practices and safety protocols.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive tasks accurately.
• Physical ability to handle and move laboratory equipment and supplies.
• Selfreliant well organized working attitude.
