Electrical Engineer Project Manager

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Engineer Project Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role you will oversee electrical engineering projects from inception to completion ensuring they are completed on time within scope and within budget. You will work closely with clients contractors and internal teams to deliver highquality electrical solutions for a variety of projects.

Responsibilities:

• Project Management:

  • Plan execute and manage electrical engineering projects.
  • Develop detailed project plans schedules and budgets.
  • Monitor project progress and adjust plans as necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant standards codes and regulations.
  • Conduct regular project meetings to review progress address issues and ensure alignment with project objectives.

• Engineering Design:

  • Design electrical systems including power distribution lighting control systems and communication systems.
  • Prepare detailed engineering drawings specifications and documentation.
  • Perform load calculations system sizing and selection of electrical equipment.
  • Ensure designs meet client requirements and industry standards.

• Coordination and Collaboration:

  • Work closely with clients to understand their needs and provide technical expertise.
  • Coordinate with other engineering disciplines contractors and suppliers.
  • Review and approve technical submittals and shop drawings.
  • Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure compliance with design intent.

• Quality Assurance:

  • Implement quality control procedures to ensure project deliverables meet high standards.
  • Conduct inspections and testing of electrical systems.
  • Address any nonconformances and implement corrective actions.

• Risk Management:

  • Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Monitor and manage project risks throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
• Minimum of 57 years of experience in electrical engineering and project management.
• Strong knowledge of electrical design principles codes and standards.
• Proficiency in electrical design software such as AutoCAD Revit or similar tools.
• Excellent project management skills including budgeting scheduling and resource allocation.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Experience with construction administration and field inspections.
