Job Title: Picker / Packer

Client: Heavy Machine Manufacturing Company

Duration: 12 Months

Location: Portland OR 97230

Shift: Monday to Friday 10:00 AM 6:30 PM (Ability to work overtime including Saturday)

Description:

Works individually or as part of a team to perform order fulfillment tasks according to specifications.

Job Duties:

• Pick pack and prepare parts for shipment.
• Sort and store parts.
• Instruct and assist other team members.
• Maintain a safe work environment.
• Move and position loads with crane and order picker.

Specific Position Requirements:

• Physical Requirements:
  • Lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Stand for long periods.
  • Bend stoop walk kneel etc.
• Required Safety Equipment:
  • Metatarsal boots gloves ear plugs safety glasses and bump cap (Company provides all PPE except metatarsal boots).
  • PPE must be worn for the entire shift.

Required Skills:

• High School Diploma or equivalent or 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Good attendance.
• Ability to work safely and efficiently.
• Ability to work with close tolerances.
• Ability to work in a team and independently.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions and written processes.
• Must have HS diploma or GED.
