- Develop and execute a comprehensive merchandising strategy aligned with the companys overall objectives and financial goals.
- Lead the product assortment planning process including product selection category management and inventory optimization.
- Analyze market trends consumer behavior and competitive landscape to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including marketing sales and product development to ensure alignment and execution of merchandising initiatives.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers to negotiate favorable terms pricing and product availability.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance inventory levels and product mix to make datadriven decisions and optimize merchandising efforts.
- Develop and implement pricing strategies promotions and markdown plans to maximize profitability and drive sales.
- Lead mentor and develop a highperforming merchandising team providing guidance support and feedback as needed.
- Stay abreast of industry trends best practices and emerging technologies to continuously improve merchandising processes and strategies.
- Ensure compliance with company policies procedures and regulatory requirements related to merchandising activities.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration Marketing Merchandising or related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in merchandising product management or related roles with at least 7 years in a leadership or managerial position.
- Proven track record of success in developing and executing merchandising strategies that drive revenue growth and profitability.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data identify trends and make strategic recommendations.
