Our client is seeking a Product Owner/Manager for our contract position with a client located in McLean VA/ Richmond VA ideally looking for applicants with a solid background in the Banking & and financial services industry and strong Bachelors Degree or military experience/ EX CAP1.

MBA or Masters degree

Engineering 360 Product Management
Capital One is looking for an experienced product manager who can play a lead role for key initiatives in the E360 team. This team is optimizing Capital One developers focus on creating competitive applications by enabling the tooling and best practices to both deliver code faster and in the background drive automation that ensures applications are well managed. As a value stream lead you will work with the Product Director to build strategy and execution of the vision;work with your team users and adjacent teams; drive a continuous discovery process optimizing for user adoption. This Product manager will instill an outcome / result focus approach in the team and alignment with other product and technology leaders to optimize cross team efforts.

In this role youll be expected to demonstrate proficiency in four key areas:

Youll govern the responsible and efficient application of technology resources by assessing opportunities for reusing existing solutions clearly defining minimum viable products and always building with extensibility in mind
Transformational Leadership
Youll work with your Product Director to establish a longterm product portfolio strategy informed by customer and business needs and partner with leaders and stakeholders to regularly drive alignment secure resources and overcome impediments

As part of the developer tools team (E360) you have access to:
Future system design that ensures applications are well managed while optimizing developers time towards application development.
Work with leaders across the company to find and take advantage of valuable shared services allowing your team more time to focus on unique highvalue work
Delve into microservice and cloudnative architecture to decouple business strategy changes from underlying transaction processing logic increasing speed to market and reducing risk
Drive accelerated continuous discovery process that optimizes user adoption through outcome orientation and empowerment

Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be able to understand customer expectations; identify developer experience best practices; current gaps & technical constraints; drive requirements and ultimately partner with IT Delivery Operations enterprise teams (e.g. Legal Compliance) and thirdparty vendors (if relevant) to deliver the optimal developer experience.
The ideal candidate has a strong track record of leading the delivery of highquality digital products and services in an Agile development environment. You embrace Design Thinking and apply lean product and userdriven design principles when developing and refining product features and capabilities. You can articulate how the activities under your stewardship directly impact the business and ensure that business requirements are translated into automated solutions that get delivered on time and within budget.
Collaborate with technology operations cyber compliance and business partners to coordinate and manage resources and activities to maximize impact and overall return on investment.
