Functional Overview:
TheSr.Systems Engineercoordinate and facilitate onsite support to any systems related concerns and issues. He/she is responsible of maintaining the systems availability and reliability.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Acknowledge assigned service requests incidents or queries via Service Desk according to SLA.
- Provide Level 1 2 & 3 Technical support (Physical Configurationand ProjectManagement Support)Respond and own until resolution of hardware or software problems.
- Systems implementations and troubleshooting.
- Document method of procedures for maintenance of hardware and software initiatives.
- Assist OSS to perform duties as assigned.
- Interact with Network Operations Center (NOC) and Service Desk (SD) during Critical Events and Outages.
- Provide Escalation Support to immediate superior.
Minimum Competencies:
- Manage full software and hardware development planning process including the design of specifications diagrams techniques and strategies.
- Plan implement install operate and maintain systems hardware software applications and Information Technology infrastructure.
- Perform functional analysis and cost – benefit studies to determine proper allocation of resources.
- Evaluate customer or product requirements to develop total systems solutions within project timelines and cost constraints.
- Manage large scale systems network and software deployment projects for client companies with full oversight for design development deployment and production.
- Define technical requirements and document plans for project lifecycle deployment including the scheduling of project deliverables budgets and timelines.
- Direct all IT deployments and job scheduling with oversight for vendor and consultant management.
- Plan develop and deploy change management initiatives for technical implementation including productivity software systems technical application and hardware release.
Minimum Qualifications:
- At least34years experienced in handling Systems and Servers.
- Previous working experience with physical servers troubleshooting physical repair.
- Must be an excellent communicator/facilitator; ability to interface with clients at all level
- Knowledge in handling Systems & Servers. Such as: Microsoft Server 2012 and above SQL LINUX.
- Basic Networking and MS Office Skills.
