Key Responsibilities
Cultural leadership and advocacy:
- Support cultural values and integrity within the organization suppliers and members
- Support individual and organizational cultural learning
- Respect and embed cultural practices and knowledge as BAU
- Support and grow the organisation s Indigenous workforce
Operational Leadership:
- Operational management of business functions including finance office administration business planning digital & IT and business programs
- Manage a high performing team that drives excellence by leading by example with behaviors that underpin the organisation s values of integrity accountability collaboration excellence and empowerment
- Ensure organizational sustainability through the development of budgets and strategic Business/Operational Plans cost effective business systems and effective governance including identifying areas for efficiency and streamline processes and policies accordingly
- Drive operational excellence by establishing and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics
- Support the priorities of the organization the CEO and the Board
- Monitor key metrics to assess whether the organizational goals have been met and improvements have been effective
Strategic Planning and Execution:
- Collaborate with the CEO to develop and execute the companys strategic plans overall mission vision and initiatives
- Translate the strategic vision into actionable plans and establish performance metrics to measure success
- Monitor and implement changes to strategies as required to ensure the organization remains agile and competitive in the market
- Collaborate with department heads to optimize processes and improve overall efficiency
- Provide accurate and timely reports outlining the operational condition of the company
- Develop systems processes and practices that inform financial performance and contribute to organizational strategic and objective decisionmaking capabilities
Financial Management:
- Administer the overall financial management of the organization including overseeing the development and maintenance of ensuring cost control and budgets and developing financial strategies for a sustainable organization including fundraising initiatives
- Oversee the coordination of annual audits and financial reviews
- Provide financial projections and analyses of existing programs and policies
- Liaise with external auditors and accountants
- Manage all government and funding reporting requirements including preparation of reports financial inputs delivery of reports to contract dates
Business Development and Growth:
- Identify opportunities for business growth and expansion both domestically and internationally
- Evaluate potential strategic partnerships alliances and acquisitions to enhance market position
- Foster a resultsoriented culture recognizing and rewarding high performance
- Keep up to date with market and industry trends to drive organizational competitiveness
Communication and Stakeholder Management:
- Foster effective communication and collaboration among crossfunctional teams
- Engage with external stakeholders to build strong relationships
Requirements
Skills knowledge and experience
- Minimum 5 years of previous experience in a Clevel position or a Head of Department
- Demonstrated knowledge of and/or experience in working in Healthcare Sector
- Established corporate government and industry networks
- Demonstrated high level communication analytical and liaison skills;
