Job Description

Looking for a Process Engineer for our client based in Almelo NL.

Tasks

The Process Engineer is partly responsible for designing analyzing monitoring improving and supporting the production processes. The Process Engineer ensures the correct and clear processes for the endtoend production process of new and existing products (material preparation assembly and preparation for shipping).

Activities and responsibilities*:

  • Drawing up translating and implementing clear procedures work instructions and training documentation.
  • Analyzing and reporting various production process data including KPIs.
  • Providing solicited and unsolicited advice to production departments on process improvement.
  • Proposing and implementing improvement programs approved by management to enhance quality delivery and cycle time.
  • Ensuring quality capacity and efficiency of production resources.
  • Actively participating in the implementation of new products.
  • Drafting first article reports on behalf of the NPI Program Manager.
  • Consulting with Manufacturing teams at head office (USA).
  • Continuously evaluating costs and revenues to inform improvement proposals
  • Representing the client during customer audits.

Requirements

  • Good knowledge of English language; both verbally and in writing
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good knowledge of MS Office
  • Experience with continuous improvement/lean programs (Green Belt)
  • Knowledge of Six Sigma FMEA 8D
  • Good knowledge of ERP systems

Training required for the position:

  • At least HBO preferably in Business Administration or HBO working and thinking level gained through demonstrable relevant work experience of at least 5 years.

Position of the position in the organization:

  • Reports to: Engineering Manager
  • Will be replaced in his absence by: Colleague Process Engineer
