AI Systems Engineer

At The Wise Seeker we are looking for a AI Systems Engineer to join our client: a creative staffing agency for creatives by creatives with offices in Portland Austin Los Angeles Boise & San Francisco.

Functions

1. Develop and Analyze Machine Learning or AI Models for Edge AI applications.
2. Analyze OpenSource Large Language Vision and Multimodal models and deploy them for mobile systems.
3. Customize the models for performance and power analysis and implement changes for performance improvements.
4. Work with the thirdparty Application and Model developers to get custom models for mobile devices and to analyze Memory and Storage requirements.
5. Work with the SDKs from SoC vendors to deploy models on different Accelerators in the mobile system and analyze the performance with different accelerators.
6. Run tests to assess and AI performance.
7. Stay up to date on the latest innovations in machine learning.

Requirements

1. Must have a BS or Masters degree or PhD in Electrical and/or Computer Engineering or Computer Science
2. At least 5 years of relevant work experience.
3. Strong understanding of dimensionality reduction techniques clustering and classification.
4. Familiarity with supervised and unsupervised machine learning metrics and requirements.
5. Excellent writing documentation and communication skills.
6. Ability to learn new skills and take on new responsibilities.
7. Experience working with AI Accelerators and Performance Analysis
8. Experience in ASIC or FPGA Design Verification
9. Experience in Architecture Microarchitecture of high speed low power optimal area IPs
10. Great communications skills with the ability to articulate results

Skills

1. Experience with dynamical systems optimization and simulation.
2. Knowledge of the latest and most performant ML/AI algorithms.
3. Ability to create customer deliverable research reports.
4. Proposal writing skills for new ML/AI work.
5. Processor system knowledge including basic understanding of SoC systems as well as operating system software.
